Paris Connection

Book 3

An Under The Roof Forbidden Romance

At twenty years old, she thought Paris would be the perfect place to forget the man who had broken her heart.

Instead, the city of love only made her attitude worse.

Recently dumped and in no mood to believe in romance, she was supposed to write a glowing article about Paris, full of charm, beauty, and breathtaking moments beneath golden lights. Her editor expected magic. Her readers expected passion. But every sentence she wrote seemed to come out sharper, darker, and far less romantic than planned.

By the time she was finished describing couples in cafés like suspects at a crime scene, even she had to admit the article sounded more murderous than dreamy.

Love, in her opinion, was overrated.

Paris clearly disagreed.

A doctor nearing forty, he had built his life around long hours, cold discipline, and the kind of work that left no room for messy feelings. After losing more than one relationship to his career, he traveled to Paris hoping distance would help him forget what he had failed to hold on to. He wanted quiet. He wanted space. Most of all, he wanted to stop thinking about everything he had lost.

Then spilled coffee changed both of their plans.

One accident in a Paris café brought them face-to-face, leaving tempers raised, clothes stained, and attraction burning hotter than either of them wanted to admit. She was too heartbroken to trust charm. He was too guarded to offer promises. Yet something about their collision refused to end.

What started as irritation soon became curiosity.

What became curiosity soon turned into temptation.

And beneath the lights of Paris, two people who had nearly given up on love found themselves forming a connection neither of them expected.
